The Bowling Green Area Chamber of Commerce’s economic development staff and the South Central Kentucky Economic Development Partnership boasts more than 60 years of economic development experience. Applying those skills to our business services enhances the site selection process for all involved.

The staff provides the following business services:

• Site evaluation services, with extensive details about the physical characteristics of shovel-ready sites and available buildings.
• Detailed community data, including information on utilities services, business costs, local government services, labor availability and other local resources.
• Liaison services with state and government officials and agencies, as well as with utility companies and other organizations.
• Property tours tailored to meet your needs.
• Assistance with financial package preparation and obtaining the required state permits and licenses.
• Coordination/celebration of public announcements, groundbreakings and grand openings.

Additionally, we provide

• Existing industry support by visiting with industry leadership to assess their needs on a regular basis.
• Seminars on topics for small business and entrepreneurship development.
• A partnership with the Small Business Development Center, the Central Region Innovation and Commercialization Center, and SCORE for small business assistance.
• Events honoring local industries and small business persons for their contributions to the community.
