Within the Bowling Green city limits, The Medical Center and the Greenview Regional Hospital offer a combined total of 548 beds for easy access in the immediate area. The city is also home to specialty centers, like The Heart Institute, the Cancer Treatment Institute, and the Commonwealth Regional Specialty Hospital. 

Vanderbilt Medical Center is just one hour south of Bowling Green in Nashville and air ambulance service is available from South Central Kentucky to the Vanderbilt facility.
